NAVIGATION LEVEL 2 |

This is a natural follow up from the level one course. The course will start early afternoon and finish after dark. All specialist equipment is provided. Students to bring hill safety kit and appropriate clothing for the conditions. The courses will briefly revise some of the level one skills and move onto micro navigation, use of natures signs, astronavigation, timings and lost person procedures. Arrival time and departure from the venue is to be arranged prior to the day. The course will be run in and around the Yorkshire dales and location will be dependant on prevailing weather and time of year. |
