First Aid for wilderness living: an open camp as a classroom, a hammock as a bed??!! A practical, hands on and systematic approach to a HSE recognised 2 day first aid course (suitable for NGBs: MLTB, BCU, NCA, BMC etc). Including:

Longer term care in remote environments

Improvised techniques

Incident management

Illness recognition and treatment (including use of plants and herbs)

First Aid kits and medicines

Risk assessments and emergency systems

Casualty handing and evacuation

 

Experiential First Aid learning supplemented by survival skills:
