PRINT OFF AND SEND

NAVIGATION LEVEL 1

This is a one day navigation course and is aimed at beginners, mountain leader trainees.

The course will cover all aspects of navigation, use of map, compass, pacing, use natures signs and primitive direction finding techniques.

All specialist equipment is provided (maps, compass).

A reasonable level of fitness is required, however 

consideration to your well being is Bushtrucks primary concern and is therefore tailored to individual requirements.

Participants to provide own kit appropriate for a day out on the hill.

Location and meeting time to be arranged prior to the day and will be dependant on prevailing weather and time of year. The course will be run in and around the Yorkshire dales.
